Lead document controller

Job Title ndash; Lead Document Controller Location ndash; St Albans Type ndash; Permanent Salary ndash;GBP50,000 + package Our client is a serial award-winning, Tier 1 Main Contractor that specialises in the Industrial Logistics, Data Centre, Pharma Life Sciences and Commercial sectors. They are looking to bring on a Lead Document Controller to head up a Team of 6 x Document Controllers across a GBP200m business unit. Lead Document Controller Roles Responsibilities - Maintenance of documents and revisions to the EDMS to ensure complete and up to date repository of information that is correctly audited from all parties. - Distribution of information to relevant internal, Design and Client teams - Ensuring compliance across all project rsquo;s information in line with standard protocols and security measures. - Issuing 4Projects invitations to new users and assigning them and assigning them to the correct permissions, creating new/updating folder and assigning a workflow where required. - Producing and regularly updating trackers and reports for the projects to record progress and update the team. - Liaison with external consultants and subcontractors etc, regarding document management and approval requirements. - Coordinating any information such as tender packages, building control containers and subcontractors folders with guidance from the Design Manager / Quantity Surveyor. Lead Document Controller Skills Experience required - Tier 1 Main Contractor background - Minimum 12 years Document Controller experience - Experience of managing multiple projects concurrently - 4P / Field View expert - Strong IT / reporting skills - Extensive team leading and mentoring experience An opportunity to work with a rapidly growing Main Contractor, this isn #39;t an opportunity not to miss.
