Principal associate flood risk drainage engineer

Principal / Associate Flood Risk Drainage Consultant Location: Central London with hybrid working Salary: 55k - 65k plus bonus + wide range of other benefits Emtech recruitment are working with a growing Engineering Consultancy of 100+ staff who are looking for a Principal or Associate Flood Risk Consultant to join their Water team in London. The team are working on a wide range of projects in the private and public sector and due to a busy forward workload are looking to expand their team with a senior appointment at Principal or Associate level. In this role you will be joining an established team with opportunities for you to grow and develop in your career. The wider business has grown steadily over the last 5 years and have exciting plans in place for the future growth of the business which will offer opportunities internally for existing staff. Key role requirements: 8+ years experience in flood risk and drainage across private and public sector schemes Experience running projects and managing a small team, preparing fee proposals and financial control of projects Must have experience in flood alleviation schemes, foul surface water drainage SUDS You will be expected to mentor a few of the junior staff and support their development Preparation of Flood Risk Assessments in Flood Zone 1, 2 and 3 Undertake conceptual and detail design of surface water flood alleviation works Good knowledge of Microdrainage / Infodrainage Preparation of water chapters for Environmental Statements Project and client management experienceApply today to be considered for this opportunity
