Electrical building services design engineer

We are looking for a conscientious electrical design engineer with previous experience within a building services consultancy to join our design team and work to deliver efficient electrical design solutions across a number of sectors including but not limited to health care, commercial, manufacturing and custodial. The role would be to work within an existing electrical design team and partake in developing solutions, defining problems, providing technical support internally and within a larger design team, in virtual meetings and on site. Key responsibilities would be as follows: * Develop and prepare technical specifications, designs, model/ drawing production, equipment schedules and technical reports. * Design and selection of electrical components and systems for various services such as, LV systems, ELV systems and life safety systems. Ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements alike. * Undertake site surveys and inspections and production of technical reports. * Have an understanding of working across various RIBA stages and what works are to be carried out at each stage. I.e. be able to work from concept to completion. * Conducting reach and applying new ways of working and technologies. * Identifying and addressing problems and issues. * Undertake CDM risk assessments * Be able to work in a team and feels comfortable working with others. Minimum 4 years rsquo; experience within an M E design consultancy, as well as an associated degree qualifications or working towards degree qualification. A good working knowledge of design packages such as Revit, Trimble ProDesign, Relux, Dialux and AutoCAD, Elec OM is advantageous but not essential
