Key Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant: Provide one-on-one or small group support to children with SEN needs in mainstream primary classrooms. Encourage and facilitate the participation of children with SEN in classroom activities and social interactions. Collaborate effectively with the class teacher, SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator), and other members of the school staff to ensure the needs of children with SEN are met Requirements: Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting in Cranleigh. Knowledge and understanding of different types of SEN, including mild to moderate needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, parents, and colleagues. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of children with SEN.
