Senior electrical engineer

Senior Electrical Engineer Are you an Electrical Engineering specialist working in manufacturing, ideally educated to HNC level or above? This role as Senior Electrical Engineer is to be responsible for the Electrical standards on site, involved in projects and improving maintenance and repairs. Location: Cheshire Salary: GBP60k plus pension The Candidate: * Must have served a recognised Electrical Engineering apprenticeship, ideally educated to HNC in Electrical Engineering * Fully aware of Engineering legislation including 18th Edition and PUWER * Your experience must have been gained in a fast-paced Manufacturing environment, preferably Food or other FMCG manufacturing. * Ideally you will have project experience and also be able to demonstrate a root cause analysis approach to fault diagnosis. * Any coaching and team leading experience will stand you in good stead as this role will involve training Engineers The Role: * This is a Days based role, primarily responsible for Electrical standards on this large manufacturing site, ensuring Compliance to electrical legislation * Managing existing (Electrical) assets and building the Electrical Engineering capability * Managing and improving maintenance relating to the Electrical assets * Work on electrical projects to drive industrialisation * Train and coach Engineers to improve maintenance, fault diagnosis, repairs, etc The Company: * The company is well established and very profitable food manufacturer * There is plenty of CAPEX allocated for Engineering projects. * This is a key position within the Engineering department and a chance to make a difference. * The company also loves to promote from within so, if you rsquo;re ambitious, you will have opportunities for development Sound interesting?
