Learning support assistant

Nocturnal Recruitment are looking for experienced Learning Support Assistants / LSA rsquo;s with previous experience of working within the education sector for a role located within North/East london area for Day-to-Day temporary cover. This role includes Learning Support Assistants / LSA covering Primary Schools, and supporting various children aged 5-11 with their education. You should be an effective communicator with a calm, patient and caring approach to support individuals on a 1:1 basis as you will be helping those children to integrate in tasks and activities which other students are typically completing. Students which you are working with directly will have various specific learning difficulties. You should have the ability to adapt within your work environment as different situations may arise which you will have to deal with, as no two days are the same. You should be able to implement various strategies in dealing with atypical behaviours. You should have a clear understanding of children rsquo;s learning and development and be able to identify which stage a child rsquo;s development is at and how to meet their needs. You must be passionate about your role as a Learning Support Assistants / LSA and bring a comforting, patient atmosphere to students which you are supporting. Pay: * GBP75-100 per day Shift Patterns: * Mon ndash; Fri 8am ndash; 4pm, Day-to-Day You must have: * Must have at least 1 years #39; experience as a Learning Support Assistant / LSA or within the education sector in the UK. * Must Hold a valid DBS within the last 12 months - preferably registered online or be able to complete a new one. * Understanding of Child Safeguarding. * Ideally have an NVQ Level 3 in Health Social Care OR Children Young People. * Must have Safeguarding children, First Aid, Fire Safety and Health and Safety training ndash; Nocturnal Recruitment Solutions will support you with your training needs if required.
