As the Logistics Director, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimising the logistics operations across both locations. Reporting directly to the executive team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the logistics department. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic plans to optimise logistics operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer requirements. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and internal departments, to drive operational excellence and ensure seamless coordination. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall logistics performance. Oversee the management of transportation, warehousing, inventory, and distribution activities, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods and services. Analyse logistics data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and industry best practices.
