We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join an established and growing, global business. With a strong reputation for quality and innovation, this company is poised for continued growth and success. As an Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving operational efficiency, optimising processes, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products to our customers. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee all aspects of the production process, including planning, scheduling, and quality control. Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and components. Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement process improvements and new technologies. Manage and develop a team of skilled technicians and operators, providing guidance, training, and support. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. Your Experience: Proven track record of success in an operations management role within the Valve industry or Flow Control solutions. Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives. You can be based anywhere in the Midlands, hybrid working options are available. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and tactically. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems. Bachelor #39;s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred. Willingness to travel to customer sites and attend industry events as needed.
