Planning technician

Position: Planning Technician Location: Southampton, UK (Hybrid Working: 3 days a week in-office) Salary: Up to GBP30,000 depending on experience. As a Planning Technician, you will be an integral part of their dynamic team, providing essential support in the planning process. Your responsibilities will include: middot;Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications. middot;Conducting site assessments and surveys. middot;Drafting reports, proposals, and other planning documents. middot;Liaising with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders. middot;Providing administrative support to the planning team. middot;Contributing to the development of planning strategies and initiatives. Requirements: middot;Relevant qualification in Planning, Geography, or related field. middot;Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a consultancy environment. middot;Strong understanding of planning policies, regulations, and procedures. middot;Proficiency in GIS software and other relevant tools. middot;Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. middot;Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. middot;Enthusiasm for learning and professional development.
