Legal credit controller

Brook Street are working with a well established, legal organisation in the heart of Swansea who are looking for a legal fee #39;s clerk. This is a full time, permanent opportunity with an attractive salary package and an opportunity to enhance your skill set in a very niche role. The role is offering GBP28,000/year which is reviewed after 9 months. Responsibilities and Duties Handling billing processes for legally aided and private fees, including submission of bills/payment on account applications on CCMS (Client and Cost Management System) and processing payments on the LEX system Daily billing of private fees and sending fee notes and invoices for all new work billed Managing Chamber #39;s fee chasing systems, including proactive chasing and reporting of aged debt Providing prompt follow-up for billing queries and requests Assisting with other fee-related tasks and projects as needed Experience Required Experience in a legal background (essential) Experience in legal billing or finance background (essential) Strong numeracy skills and proficiency in IT Excellent attention to detail Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to collaborate with colleagues, barristers, and clients Benefits Free parking in the centre of Swansea 30 days holiday + bank holidays Company pension Company Events
