Town planner

Position: Town Planner Location: Woking, UK (Hybrid Working: 3 days a week in-office) Salary: up to GBP35,000 p/a plus benefits. They have a team of 12 passionate planning professionals committed to shaping better environments for communities across the UK. As a Town Planner, you will play a pivotal role in their dynamic team, collaborating with stakeholders and leveraging your expertise to drive successful planning projects. Your responsibilities will include: middot;Conducting research and analysis to support planning applications. middot;Engaging with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure project success. middot;Preparing and presenting reports, proposals, and planning applications. middot;Providing expert advice on planning policies and regulations. middot;Contributing to the development of strategic planning initiatives. Requirements: middot;Bachelor #39;s or Master #39;s degree in Town Planning or related field. middot;Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) is desirable. middot;Proven experience in town planning, preferably within a consultancy environment. middot;Strong knowledge of UK planning policies, regulations, and procedures. middot;Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. middot;Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. middot;Proficiency in relevant software and technology.
