Teaching Assistant We are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant for schools across Lambeth. You will be given the opportunity to work in your preferred Year Group to support children with their learning and development. Teaching Assistant Responsibilities: middot; Provide dedicated support in the mornings, focusing on assisting children including those with additional needs. middot; Utilize your knowledge and skills to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for all students. middot; Collaborate closely with teachers and SENCO to implement tailored support plans and interventions. middot; Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development. Requirments: middot; Previous experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. middot; Strong understanding of SEN, safeguarding, and child protection practices. middot; Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required. middot; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. middot; Relevant qualifications and/or training in education, SEN, or child development are desirable.# Please keep in mind that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
