Speech and language therapist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our client #39;s team. FULL OR PART TIME CONSIDERED! The Speech Language Therapist is an autonomous practitioner providing a high standard speech language therapy service withinteh Neuro Rehab Therapy Centre. You will be responsible for working with the Multi Disciplinary Team the Home Managers / Lead Nurses to ensure that the rehabilitation and therapy needs of each Service User are met. This will involve ensuring that Speech Language Therapy provision is of consistently high quality and in line with procedures. Duties: - Conduct assessments to evaluate patients #39; speech and language abilities - Develop individualised treatment plans based on assessment results - Provide therapy sessions to patients to improve speech, language, and swallowing abilities - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans - Monitor and document service user progress throughout the course of therapy Qualifications: SLT Qualification Experience with neurological caseload Must be willing to undertake any further training as required. - Registration as a Speech-Language therapist with HCPC - Knowledge of human physiology and anatomy related to speech production and swallowing - Strong understanding of various neuro related disorders and treatment techniques - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team For more information and an informal chat, please contact Laura Mullane at Pioneer Talent.
