Teaching Assistant Additional Learning Needs and SEBD (Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) Location - Caerphilly Pay rate ndash; GBP84.50 per day (GBP422.50 per week) Hours - Monday to Friday (8:30am ndash; 3:30pm), school term time About us: PE Direct is the only specialist recruitment agency in South Wales dedicated solely to physical education (PE) and additional learning needs (ALN). This position is supporting a pupil with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties (SEBD) within a school and unit that prides itself on inclusivity and wellbeing successfully. Responsibilities: * Working within a small class to support pupils who have complex SEBD and additional learning needs. * Supporting pupils in enhancing self-esteem and social interaction skills. * Encouraging pupils to take pride in their achievements and celebrate them. * Supporting pupils to management their behaviour, emotions, and frustration. * Working closely as part of a team with other members of teaching staff. Requirements: * Experience of working with pupils in a similar environment and of a similar age within the last 3 years. * Strong behaviour management skills and communication skills * Ability to build strong rapport with pupils based on mutual trust and respect.
