Position: Full-time, Permanent Salary: A competitive salary of up to euro;100k per year Our Client is an innovative M E Engineering Consultancy who are seeking a Design Manager to join their Dublin office due to unprecedented growth. Key Responsibilities: bull;Oversee the MEP design team rsquo;s operations, specifically focusing on MEP systems for data centres. bull;Ensure that all MEP design deliverables for data centres meet technical specifications, operational reliability, and compliance with global standards. bull;Lead the integration of MEP systems in data centre projects, collaborating with architects, IT specialists, and construction teams. bull; Develop innovative MEP solutions that enhance energy efficiency and sustainability in data centre environments. bull;Manage the creation and validation of complex MEP drawings, models, and calculations for data centre facilities. bull;Mentor and guide MEP design teams, instilling best practices for data centre design and operations. bull;Facilitate client meetings and coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals and specifications. bull;Track and manage project timelines, resources, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within cost constraints. Requirements: bull;Bachelor rsquo;s or Master rsquo;s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering, or a related field. bull;Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred. bull;Minimum of 7 years of MEP design experience, with significant expertise in data centres. bull;Proficient with specialized software such as AutoCAD MEP, Revit MEP, and BIM tools. bull;Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in managing multidisciplinary design teams. bull;Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent organizational skills. bull;Deep knowledge of data centre infrastructure requirements, including cooling systems, power distribution, and redundancy systems. bull;Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
