Exiting new opportunity for a MEP Manager to join a well-established award winning company! Position: Full-time, Permanent Salary: A competitive salary of up to euro;100k per year Our Client is an innovative M E Engineering Consultancy who are seeking a Design Manager to join their Dublin office due to unprecedented growth. Key Responsibilities: bull;Manage MEP operations, focusing on maintenance and efficiency of MEP systems within data centre facilities. bull;Work closely with data centre operations teams to ensure MEP systems support high reliability and uptime requirements. bull;Develop and implement management strategies for the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems in new data centre builds. bull;Oversee the troubleshooting and optimization of MEP systems to improve performance and reduce downtime. bull;Supervise and train MEP teams, focusing on continuous improvement and skill development in data centre technologies. bull;Manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation effectively, ensuring all MEP projects are completed within established parameters. bull;Ensure all MEP activities comply with industry standards and safety regulations specific to data centres. bull;Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure quality and efficiency in the procurement of MEP materials and services for data centres. Required Experience: bull;Bachelor rsquo;s degree in an engineering discipline relevant to MEP systems. bull;At least 5 years of management experience in MEP roles with a focus on data centre operations. bull;In-depth understanding of MEP infrastructure and its critical role in data centre operations. bull;Strong leadership skills and the ability to direct and motivate technical teams. bull;Excellent communication and project management skills. bull;Familiarity with data centre standards and best practices such as ISO, ASHRAE, and Uptime Institute guidelines. bull;Proficiency in using technology tools necessary for designing, planning, and managing MEP systems in data centres.
