We currently have a vacancy for a HGV Technician in the fantastic team at our DAF Trucks Depot in King rsquo;s Lynn. As an HGV Technician, we can offer you: * Competitive hourly rate depending on your HGV Technician experience * Overtime at premium rates * Excellent DAF HGV Technician Training Development opportunities ndash; in house and manufacturer rsquo;s * HGV driving licence training after qualifying period * 22 days holiday (plus Stats), rising to 25 days (plus stats) after 5 years service * Employee Of The Month Competition * Employee Assistance Program * Career Progression Opportunities * Pension * Death in Service Life Insurance Scheme * Cycle to work scheme Who are we looking for as a HGV Technician: * You will have previous experience working as an HGV Technician / Mechanic within the HGV, Commercial Vehicle, LGV, PSV, Heavy Plant, Car or an associated sector. * Ideally have a qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. * Or a time served HGV Technician. * Ability to participate in breakdowns. * Skills to follow company processes for completing all paperwork including accurate completion of job cards and service records. * General level of computer literacy is advantageous. * Full UK driving licence. The HGV Technician role / responsibilities include (but not limited to): Servicing and maintaining a wide variety of Trucks and Vehicles. Fault Diagnostics. MOT Preparation. Mechanical and Electrical repairs. Ensure repairs are carried out according to manufacturer rsquo;s procedures and in a safe and responsible manner. Road test vehicle when required, subject to licence restrictions. Attend any technical or development training that is made available. Working hours: Week 1: Mon ndash; Fri 6am to 2:30pm.
