Teaching Assistants urgently required for local Secondary Schools. We aim to provide classroom support to our partner school by sourcing a member of staff who has the following qualities and understanding. Any duties should not substantially change the general character of the post-Secondary Teaching Assistant: bull; General classroom support- whole class, small group and 1-2-1 led activities. bull; Reporting to class teacher, Head Teacher and SENCO bull; Carry out assessments bull; Report pupil progress bull; Support behaviour policy of school bull; Assist with planning activities bull; Support with resourcing lessons bull; Help develop and maintain the learning environment Safeguarding Staff for Education are wholly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expects all staff to share this commitment. The following responsibilities will be included in the duties which you may be required to perform: bull; Child protection, discipline, health and safety. bull; Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons for whom you are responsible and with whom you come into contact. Person Specification bull; Must hold a clear, Enhanced DBS, to include Children rsquo;s Barred List, which is on the update service. (we can organise the application for this) bull; Have a love for working with young adults and supporting their development. bull; Have experience of working with young people bull; Hold a Teaching Assistant Qualification bull; Be willing to undertake training and development bull; Good level of general education including GCSE Maths and English.
