Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with one of the world rsquo;s leading Material Handling equipment manufacturers that are looking to recruit new Workshop Engineers to work at their new depot in Basingstoke. Responsibilities middot; Servicing the company rsquo;s short-term rental fleet of forklift trucks and other specialist Material Handling equipment middot; Preparing all equipment for dispatch to short-term rental customers middot; Adhering to the company rsquo;s health safety policies whilst working on site middot; Reporting to the Workshop Team Leader middot; Developing an understanding of the manufacturer rsquo;s products and assisting with new staff further down the line Requirements The company have a preference for an individual from a forklift truck background due to the requirements of the role however this is not essential. They will also consider candidate with a background working within a closely related industry such as plant equipment, automotive, commercial vehicles or similar. You will be able to work well on your own and as part of a team whilst being able to develop your skillset and learn as you go. In terms of location, you will need to be based within commutable distance of Basingstoke.
