The Role: As an SEN Teaching Assistant specializing in SEMH, you rsquo;ll have the opportunity to be a beacon of positivity and support for students facing emotional and behavioural challenges. Key Responsibilities: bull; Collaborate with teachers to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) bull; Provide personalized support and guidance to students during lessons and activities. bull; Cultivate positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. bull; Support students in developing social skills, emotional resilience, and effective coping strategies. bull; Work closely with the SENCO and multidisciplinary team to assess student needs and monitor progress. bull; Maintain accurate records and communicate student achievements and concerns effectively. Requirements: bull; Previous experience working with students with SEMH needs is advantageous. bull; Relevant qualifications or training in Special Education or SEN support bull; Excellent communication, empathy, and resilience skills bull; Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and independently. bull; Dedication to promoting inclusivity, diversity, and safeguarding in the school community.
