Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor Location: Glasgow Salary: GBP50,000 - GBP55,000 Benefits: 25 Days Annual Leave, 5% Pension Contribution About our client: A dynamic team of 20 Chartered Quantity Surveyors, operating in both the public and private sectors. Based in Glasgow, they are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their innovative and collaborative team. Responsibilities of the Senior Quantity Surveyor: Leading cost management and procurement strategies. Preparing, managing, and reviewing cost estimates and budgets. Monitoring project financial performance and providing recommendations for cost control. Conducting risk assessments and providing solutions for risk mitigation. Collaborating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success. Mentoring and guiding junior team members. Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices. Requirements of the Senior Quantity Surveyor: Chartered status as a Quantity Surveyor (MRICS). Proven experience in cost management and procurement. Strong knowledge of the construction industry and relevant regulations. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills. Ability to lead and mentor team members. Proficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office.
