Our client, a leader in providing high-quality, ambient products is in urgent need of a Technical Manager. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing outstanding standards of food quality and safety. Position Overview The Technical Manager will pioneer the technical department, ensuring our client #39;s consistent adherence to food safety standards and legal requirements. The role involves responsibility for quality-related customer interactions, leading external audits, and risk assessments, and managing various process changes and implementation of regulatory compliance. Responsibilities * Strengthening GMP standards and ensuring comprehensive compliance * Leading the Technical Department towards improved performance * Conducting food safety-based risk assessments * Controlling product standards through rigorous checks * Overseeing incident and crisis management procedures * Implementing new product introductions and recipe amendments Requirements * Extensive experience managing a high performing technical team. * Possession of Food Hygiene Level 4 or equivalent qualification * Diploma/Degree or higher in a Food Science-related subject * Experience in technical food manufacturing and leading a strong team.
