Business development manager

We are recruiting a Business Development Manager, on behalf of our client, a Builders Work In Connection (BWIC) specialist based in London. Experience in the Construction industry is a distinct advtantage but not a requirement. Main Responsibilities * Carry out a market analysis to understand trends, opportunities, and identify potential clients * Identify new business opportunities and build a pipeline of prospects * Qualify leads, building and maintaining strong client relationships * Seek out the appropriate contact within an organisation to develop new opportunities, upsell and cross selling * Understand clients rsquo; needs via a consultative approach * Provide advice to clients on company services * Generate and attend face-to-face appointments with clients * Entertain clients to build rapport and maintain a working relationship * Keeping up to date with market trends and potential key areas for growth * Look at ways of advertising to promote the company * Deliver and exceed monthly sales target * Manage and maintain our CRM software * The role encompasses close collaboration with the MD to manage the Sales Marketing of the business Ideal Candidate * Minimum 2 years previous sales experience, preferably within construction * Well-developed skills in listening, building relationships, presenting, and producing written communications * Able to work independently * Able to execute research, identifying business opportunities * Able to manage other sales staff * Have experience using CRM software * Hold a full UK driving licence
