Stock control manager

Micheldever Tyre Services is looking for a reliable, enthusiastic individual with excellent work ethic to join our team in Walsall. As Stock Control Manager you will manage the operational requirements within the Warehouse functions, through an operational team. You will be responsible for implementing the Operational Policies, Procedures and Practices including Health and Safety. Take a proactive approach to drive the Shift forward with new initiatives, whilst creating a positive working environment and culture for team members. Delivering a proactive approach to excellent Customer Service. About the role: * Create daily and weekly plans as required * Drive and encourage cross-functional working to maximise efficiencies, whilst improving service levels * Regularly achieve resource targets against budgets. Delivery of routine KPI targets * Support the site to maximise stock levels and product availability * Holding regular team briefings to communicate important information and employee appraisals * Ensure that all team members have the relevant skills and knowledge in order to carry out their duties. About you: your experience and background * Experience in a management/supervisory role in a similar environment * Experience of creating operational plans management * Experience of Health Safety management * An understanding of workplace Health Safety procedures * Experience of holding employee performance reviews, appraisals, Return to Work Interviews, Investigations, Attendance Review Meetings, Disciplinaries and Grievances About our company: Micheldever Tyre Services (MTS) was founded in 1972 as a part-time venture providing car servicing and tyres.
