Accounts assistant

CMA are proudly partnering with a well-established and growing GBP50m turnover Engineering business based in Portsmouth. The role will be supporting a highly regarded Finance Director with day-to-day duties within the finance team. The role would suit a candidate with previous experience within an SME environment who is happy to help out where needed. Possibility of a permanent contract. What will the Accounts Assistant role involve? Purchase ledger processing invoices. Credit control - Keeping client accounts up to date and maintaining relationships. Sending out statements. Resolving queries. Posting journals. Assisting Financial Controller with month end and other ad hoc duties. Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Assistant vacancy: Strong transactional skillset ideally with exposure to purchase ledger and sales ledger. Happy to be 100% office based. Strong systems user. Additional benefits and information for the role of Accounts Assistant: Monday - Thursday 7.30am to 4.00pm and Friday 7.30am - 12pm - However they are happy to consider part-time hours also to suit the successful candidates needs.
