Chartered quantity surveyor

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of quantity surveying from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered within agreed budgets and timeframes. Key Responsibilities: bull; Undertake and manage the cost management of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they stay within budget and meet financial targets bull; Lead the preparation, negotiation, and settlement of contractual documents including tenders, variations, claims, and final accounts bull; Oversee the preparation and submission of accurate monthly cost reports - Provide advice and guidance on contractual matters to internal teams and external stakeholders bull; Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and legislation, including health and safety requirements bull; Support the development and implementation of project management strategies, identifying and mitigating risks Requirements: bull; MRICS qualified is essential bull; Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, including some project management experience bull; Excellent knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, and financial management bull; Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop others bull; Excellent communication and negotiation skills bull; Proficient in the use of relevant software and systems bull; Experience in residential and commercial sectors is not required but would be advantageous
