Sales ledger

We are recruiting someone to take care of a busy sales ledger function for our growing Wirral based client, who have a small friendly team on the Wirral. There is opportunity for this role to grow in the future. What rsquo;s in it for you! bull; Salary GBP25-26k bull; Office based, working Mon ndash; Fri 9an-5:30pm with 30 mins for lunch. bull; 28 days annual leave, after 5 years additional 5 days annual leave bull; Pension (company match up to 5% contribution) Why we rsquo;d work there! bull; Great Culture bull; Fun friendly team bull; Free Parking and nearby train station What you rsquo;ll do bull; Generate and issue invoices to customers accurately and promptly. bull; Process payments received from customers and allocate them to the appropriate accounts. bull; Reconcile sales ledger accounts and resolve any discrepancies or issues. bull; Assist with provisioning of broadband and ensure it rsquo;s invoiced correctly bull; Monitor overdue accounts and follow up with customers to ensure timely payment. bull; Assist with credit control activities, including sending reminders and statements to customers. bull; Provide support to the finance team during month-end and year-end close processes. bull; Maintain documentation and records related to sales transactions in an organized manner. bull; Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to resolve billing inquiries or disputes. Experience you need bull; Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a finance or accounting department. bull; Proficiency in using accounting software such as Xero and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel. bull; Strong numerical and analytical skills with keen attention to detail. bull; Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. bull; Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
