Line production operator

Job Title: Line Production Operator Pay Rate: GBP13.28 Contract: Temporary to Permanent Hours: Full-Time, 39 Hours: Mon ndash; Thurs: 8:00 ndash; 17:00 (30 mins lunch) Fri: 8:00 ndash; 13:00 (no lunch) We are looking for a experienced production Operator to join a Global Client based in Clevedon, Somerset. you will be Reporting to the Team Supervisor the ideal candidate will have the ability to lay up using advanced prepreg materials and / or assemble a variety of Composite structures and components using adhesives and mechanical fasteners. Duties * Cleaning and preparing mould tools for curing, * Cutting and laying up materials in mould tools, * Loading and operating industrial curing ovens / autoclaves / presses, * Core filling pre and post curing, * Assembling components using adhesives and mechanical fasteners * Hand tool finishing of components and assemblies e.g. linishing and countersinking * Responsible for ensuring that a high standard of housekeeping is maintained, * To support team members with other tasks / training as and when necessary, * To help to create and maintain a safe working environment and observe the published Health and Safety Procedures, * To carry out any other tasks where reasonable and relevant as and when required. Experience and Skills * Previous experience in the aerospace industry * Previous experience within a manufacturing environment (engineering, boatbuilding, woodworking, mechanical or similar) * Composite layup / laminating experience * Demonstrable practical skills * Ability to read engineering drawings * Competency using hand tools * Competency using toolroom machinery such as pillar drills and bandsaws * Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment * Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines Site Benefits middot; Brand new site with new facilities. middot; Free onsite car park. middot; Temp to Perm role
