Job Role As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be instrumental in supporting and maintaining our client #39;s IT Network. Your focus will be on firewall, routing, WI-FI and security systems.You will use your extensive knowledge in LAN and WAN, IP address management,Firewalls and security access control systems provide innovative solutions.and ensure network stability and security. Job Responsibilities Actively supporting WAN, site LAN, routing, WI-FI, firewall and network security, IPAM, Network access control, and cloud telephony. Collaborating with other teams to ensure IT systems and services meet evolving needs. Participating in projects and overseeing new service transitions. Undertaking complex Installations or configurations within the networking environment autonomously. Working within a small team on the development and support of new services or configurations across services. Planning, installing,and testing voice and data network connections. Producing high-quality documentation for the maintenance of delivery systems. Collaborating closely with the local Estate Services and other departments regarding infrastructure requirements for new builds and other cabling activities around the site. This role may require travel to other sites, as well as partner and supplier offices. It supports hybrid working of up to 2 days per week working from home.
