General duties of the Design Technology Teacher will be: * Effective Teaching and Curriculum Development: * Deliver engaging Design Technology lessons aligned with the national curriculum. * Integrate practical projects for hands-on learning. * Practical Application of Design Skills: * Facilitate creative and innovative design projects. * Encourage students to apply design skills in workshops. * Use of Modern Technologies: * Integrate relevant technologies like CAD into lessons. * Familiarize students with industry-standard software. * Health and Safety Compliance: * Ensure strict adherence to health and safety protocols. * Educate students on responsible tool and equipment use. * Project-Based Learning and Collaboration: * Implement project-based learning for critical thinking. * Foster teamwork and communication through collaborative projects. * Providing safeguarding and pastoral support.
