Forklift field service engineer

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forklift Field Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-site maintenance, repair, and support services for a variety of forklift models at our clients #39; locations. The role will involve troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, performing routine inspections, and conducting preventive maintenance to ensure the efficient operation of our clients #39; forklift fleets. Responsibilities: * Conduct on-site maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of forklifts at customer locations. * Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a timely manner. * Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to scheduled maintenance plans. * Complete service reports, maintenance logs, and other documentation accurately and promptly. * Communicate effectively with customers to understand their service needs and provide exceptional customer service. * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of technical issues and effective coordination of service activities. * Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment. Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in forklift repair or related field preferred. * Proven experience as a forklift technician or field service engineer, with expertise in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. * Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot forklift issues. * Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues. * Valid driver #39;s license and clean driving record. * Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed and work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings, to accommodate customer needs. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively.
