Senior process engineer

The opportunity Given continued expansion and successful project portfolio growth a leading engineering consultancy based in the Warrington area are looking for a Senior Process Engineer to support their dynamic team. You will support projects across industries delivering Process Engineering Design within single or multi-discipline engineering, EPCM or EPC projects for all the major sectors (Oil Gas, Nuclear, Energy, Utilities, Chemicals, Petrochemicals and Food). Your duties and responsibilities will be You will manage, mentor and coach junior team members to help develop Process Engineering deliverables such as BOD, Heat Mass Balance, pfds, P ids, Calculations, Datasheets/Specifications and authorize once complete. You will be responsible for the quality of the Process design You will participate and contribute to design reviews such as HAZID/ENVID, HAZOP, LOPA/SIL, Model Reviews etc. You will be adaptable and deliver process design for a range of project complexity/size and across the full project lifecycle from concept to commissioning, in both green and brownfield applications You will be able to work independently and lead on small size projects You will deliver projects in a multi-discipline environment and be capable of coordinating Process engineering activities and deliverables, with the other disciplines, Mechanical, Civil and Structural, EC I and Automation You will take personal accountability for results and monitor performance against project delivery objectives and UK/European Standards RegulationsExperience qualifications Proven process engineering experience working on multi-discipline projects in an Engineering / EPCM / EPC environments Expertise in process design Experience of process safety ndash; HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, ATEX/DSEAR and Pressure relief Chemical Engineering degree or above Chartered or working towards Chartership It rsquo;s great if you also have the following Able to collaborate successfully with others in pursuit of business goals, adapting quickly to different styles and roles, and encouraging others to contribute to their full potential Able to identify any impact to the project delivery objectives and apply change management accordingly Strive to continuous improvement, generating new ideas for improving performance Takes responsibility to ensure the provision of HSEQ at all timesGet in touch now If you rsquo;re seeking a new opportunity and think you have the skills and experience for this role, then apply now or contact Hywel Thomas via LinkedIn.
