Semh teaching assistant

Role: SEMH Teaching Assistant Location: South East London Contract: Part Time Hours: 10:30 - 15:00 Start: ASAP Rate: GBP95-105(PAYE) per day Remedy is seeking two dedicated and compassionate candidate who is willing to shape the future of young pupils. We require a Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Teaching Assistant to a pupil within a primary school. You will collaborate with the classroom teacher and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for the student. The ideal candidate: Experience working with students with behavioural challenges, preferably in an educational or special education setting. Knowledge of behaviour management techniques, positive reinforcement strategies, and de-escalation methods. Assisting with the supervision of children out of lesson times, such as playtime and lunchtime duty. Establishing good relationships with children, acting as a role model. Promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all children, supporting difference and ensuring that all have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop. Supporting the child with their learning and development in areas such as literacy, numeracy, Key Stage and/or subject specific.Requirements: Must have SEMH and ASD (Autism) Experience Minimum one year School Setting experience CACHE level 3 qualification Safeguarding experienceIf this role sounds of interest, please click Apply .
