1:1 SEND Learning Support Assistants -Haringey, North London - Immediate Start Have you ever wished to work within Education as a Teaching Assistant or 1-1 support for children with SEN or EAL needs? Empowering Learning are currently working alongside a number of SEND Schools and Specialist Units located in Haringey, North London. As a 1:1 SEND Learning Support Assistant you will be expected to: Support children in their learning and behaviour in different classes. Safeguard children and report anything small or big to the Safeguarding officer within the setting. Carry out behaviour management in line with the school #39;s policies and procedures. Support pupils inside and outside the classroom and maintain high expectations. Accompany and support students with their academic and personal development. Be proactive in the class to ensure your learning support is tailored to each child #39;s individual needs and learning styles. Follow a SEN learning plan and cater to their individual needs. Job Requirements: Additional training based around education such as a Degree/NVQ or CACHE certification Experience teaching or support children with SEND needs. A passion for working in Education. Experience working in Education.
