Are you interested in supporting children who have challenging behaviour? Do you have experience working as a Secondary Teaching Assistant / Learning Mentor with young people who cannot attend mainstream school and have a background of behavioural challenges? Are you keen to make a difference to the lives of children and young people whilst building your experience and furthering your career in SEND/SEMH? Even if your experience is informal/voluntary, I want to hear from you! The children you will support will have various needs, including significant complex behaviour challenges and sometimes associated SEND. The SEMH School are looking for a SEMH Teaching Assistants to work with students AGED 11-16. Experience of working with young people with SEND and/or Autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties and learning difficulties or experience with SEMH, Trauma, Sensory processing, social communication. bull; Teaching Assistant / Learning Mentor / Youth Worker experience bull; Ability to build a strong and meaningful relationship bull; A passion for working with SEND is essential What you can expect as a SEMH Teaching Assistant bull; Excellent experience and training for aspiring Teachers, Pastoral workers, Child Psychologists, Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Counsellors, and Social Workers bull; The opportunity to make a huge social impact as a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you could change the path of someone #39;s life!
