Job Description: They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Director or Experienced Commercial Manager looking to step up to join our team. As a key member of our senior management, you will play a crucial role in driving the commercial success of our business. The ideal candidate will come from a brickwork background with a deep understanding of the industry dynamics, market trends, and project lifecycles. Responsibilities: * Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability. * Lead contract negotiations and manage relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. * Oversee the tendering process, ensuring competitive bids and timely submissions. * Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities. * Provide guidance and support to project teams to ensure successful project delivery. * Monitor and manage project budgets, costs, and profitability. * Collaborate with other departments, including operations, finance, and HR, to achieve company objectives. * Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and best practices. Requirements: * Bachelor #39;s degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field. MBA preferred. * Proven track record of success in a commercial leadership role within the brickwork/masonry industry. * Strong understanding of construction contracts, pricing models, and project management principles. * Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex data and make sound business decisions. * Results-driven with a passion for driving business growth and exceeding targets. * Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. * Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance standards. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and commercial management software.
