Business development manager

Business Development Manager East London GBP65K per annum + Commission Our client is seeking an experienced Business Development manager to join their team within the East of England. You will play a crucial role in driving the growth of the company. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and implementing effective sales strategies. You will: * Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and lead generation * Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends * Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure client satisfaction and retention * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies * Prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospective clients * Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients * Track sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to management The ideal candidate will: * Be a motivated individual with a passion for sales * Have a minimum of 5 years experience within a similar role * Have a strong background in software tools, ideally Salesforce * Have strong communication and interpersonal skills * Have a proven track record of achieving sales targets * Have excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities * Have the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients * Be proficient in using software tools for sales management (e.g., Salesforce) * Have strong analytical skills to identify market trends and opportunities * Have a full UK Driving licence Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm Fridays 8am to 4pm.
