Software Engineer - Full-Stack - Node.js / JavaScript - Linux - GBP50,000 - 55,000 nGenium have an exciting opportunity with a leading UK manufacturer of electronic lighting control solutions are seeking a Software Engineer to join our Design and Development team based in Hertfordshire. This is a permanent full-time position, working with an experienced team across a range of platforms. The role will be primarily focussed on creating code using Node.js and JavaScript, running on an embedded Linux platform. The duties include:- Design, develop, code and debug software, primarily using Node.js and JavaScript running on an embedded Linux platform. Use appropriate software to develop an embedded web server including front and back-end web development. Enhance and further develop our Cloud Server product. Integrate and validate new and existing product designs. Assess third party and open-source software. The successful candidate will have: BSc in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or similar. Minimum of 3 years solid programming experience in Node.js, JavaScript and Linux.
