Mechanical contracts manager

Mechanical Contracts Manager, required for our client, a plumbing and heating specialist, based in Gloucestershire. The Mechanical Contracts Manager will be responsible for overseeing a number of small projects, as well as ongoing servicing and reactive works throughout the area. The value of the small works, will range from GBP10,000 to GBP200,000. The candidate MUST have experience in a previous mechanical contracts managers role. The candidate would ideally come from a technical background within the HVAC sector, specicially, commercial heating. Mechanical Contracts Manager Position Overview Preparing cost pricing and estimates for new mechanical / HVAC works / reactive works Carry out any amendments or variations to existing projects / contracts Review technical drawings and specifications for take offs to create a materials list Regular contact with customers to keep them updated Managing labour, both direct and sub-contractors Working from the office in Gloucester and visiting sites around the local area as and when required. Mechanical Contracts Manager Position Requirements Technical background, within the HVAC industry Experience in a similar role.
