ECT Science Teacher Job Responsibilities: As an ECT Science Teacher, you will have the exciting opportunity to inspire and engage students in the wonders of Biology and Chemistry Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported. Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and needs. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and innovative teaching strategies. Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the educational experience for our students. Job Requirements: Qualified teacher status (QTS) or currently undergoing Initial Teacher Training (ITT) with ECT status. Specialization in Biology and Chemistry, with a strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers. Commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of children and young people. Ability to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that inspire curiosity and promote deep learning. Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school community.
