History teacher

Colmore Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) History Teacher to join a school in Walsall. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging History lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students, ensuring differentiation and inclusion. Create a supportive and stimulating learning environment that encourages active participation and promotes independent thinking. Assess student progress effectively through various formative and summative assessment methods, providing constructive feedback to facilitate improvement. Establish positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians, maintaining open communication channels to support student success. Collaborate with fellow teachers and educational staff to develop and implement curriculum enhancements, instructional strategies, and intervention programs. Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of educational best practices, pedagogical approaches, and subject-specific advancements. Qualifications: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification. Bachelor #39;s degree in Education or a relevant subject area. Demonstrated experience in teaching within a similar role, preferably within the UK education system. Sound knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with a proactive approach to meeting deadlines and achieving objectives.
