Street lighting operatives

We require a Street Lighting Operatives and Electricians based at various locations ndash; East Sussex, Northamptonshire, Herefordshire, Lincolnshire, Warwickshire, Hampshire. As a Street Lighting Operative, your main responsibilities will be as follows: Maintenance of Lighting Columns, lighting brackets, Lanterns, bollards and signs. bull; The changing of lamps, lanterns, covers, electric cells, fuses, capacitors, switches. bull; Assist Street Lighting Electricians with fault finding and repair. bull; Assist with excavations for installations of Feeder Pillars, Lighting columns, Signposts, Bollards, EV Charge points and speed cameras. bull; Management of onsite point of work risk assessments. bull; Identify and report safety observations. bull; Responsible for site traffic management / Pedestrian Management. bull; Responsible for company Property, Equipment and Vehicles. bull; Emergency call outs make safes. Who we #39;re looking for The following qualities and experience are essential: bull; A strong work ethic and desire to complete your tasks right first time. bull; Excellent attention to detail self-motivated. bull; Able to demonstrate technical knowledge and analytical skills. bull; Must be comfortable working within a team as well as working alone and to tight deadlines. Capable of working at height. bull; You will have a good level of written and numerical skills. bull; A demonstrable ability to learn new processes quickly. bull; IT skills Excel, Word ability to use a Tablet / Apps. bull; Full clean UK Driving Licence. Desirable Qualifications. bull; ECS Card to relevant level. bull; CSCS/NPORS card. bull; JIB card with CSCS-Approved Electrician bull; IPAF 1b + Harness and Fall Arrest training. bull; G39/1 Working in the vicinity of DNO. bull; NRSWA operative training. bull; 302.1 (12D) Traffic Management. bull; Manual Handling training. bull; Emergency First Aid (1 Day) training
