As English Teacher at Wings Notts School, you will be an integral part of our team who put the children and young people at the heart of everything we do. You will plan, assess and deliver outstanding teaching and learning using proven methods and approaches that enable our young people to learn, whilst ensuring that pastoral needs are also met. You will establish excellent relationships and inspire trust and confidence in pupils, colleagues, families and other professionals. About you: We very much welcome applications from qualified teachers working in mainstream settings who are looking to move into special education and gain experience working with children with social, emotional and mental health needs and autism spectrum condition. QTS (or QTLS) is essential. With a proven ability to deliver high quality, lively and effective primary/secondary teaching, which engages and motivates young people, you rsquo;ll be someone who has a passion for supporting them to learn and develop, and you rsquo;ll want to make a difference to the lives and education of our children and young people. You will have experience of teaching English GCSE and Functional Skills, leading phonics and guided reading.
