Eds engineer

An experienced Senior EDS Engineer that will be integral to the component design and release process for E E components, development of standards and creation and delivery of training material for Electrical CAD packages. EDS Engineer Role: bull; Definition and ongoing development of the whole Electrical CAD package for use across the Group. bull; Definition of business processes to enable efficient use of the toolchain. bull; Integration of the Electrical CAD package with Teamcenter and NX. bull; Creation and delivery of training material for Electrical CAD package and associated tools. bull; Managing the day-to-day issues as they arise ensuring prompt investigation and closure. bull; Managing the associated applications that are utilised as part of the design process. bull; Support of Electrical database administration. bull; Technical process support including leading the digitisation of machine audits/assessments. bull; Develop a close working relationship with our Electrical CAD vendor to continually develop the toolchain. EDS Engineer Requirements: bull; Educated to a minimum HND level in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science. bull; Extensive experience in a wiring harness development environment for Tier 1 harness manufacturer or machine manufacturer. bull; Application support and development experience in Zuken E3, Capital Harness or Arcadia tool suites. bull; Self-motivated and capable of working well both alone and as a member of a team. bull; Experience in automotive or off highway electrical systems. bull; A team player with a ldquo;hands on rdquo; approach to problem solving. You will operate and manage within a team and under your own initiative, interpreting specifications and contributing to technical discussions. bull; Proven track record of multiple simultaneous project deliveries.
