Field sales executive

Our market leading client with its base in Dublin is offering excellent opportunities for two talented, driven and industry experienced Sales professionals to join their team to drive revenue within the territory. As stockists of fixings, bolts, professional security fasteners and associated hardware, our client supplies merchants and distributors, as well as directly to the manufacturing, construction engineering sectors The successful candidates will be rewarded with a good basic salary, bonus scheme and will be provided with a car while working within a highly respected, successful and long established organisation. As a Field Sales Executive the purpose of your role will be management and growth of existing accounts combined with a focus on identifying and generating new business. Responsibilities to include but not limited to: middot; Generating sales leads through cold calling, face to face visits, networking and referrals, middot; Continually identifying and pursuing new business opportunities middot; Professional Account Management of existing client base and upselling wherever possible middot; Meeting with existing and potential clients to sell and promote products middot; Full management of the sales process middot; Production of quotes middot; Provision of product information and support to clients middot; Efficiently maintain accurate records middot; Production of sales reports and forecasting middot; Meet and exceed sales targets middot; Co-ordinating and communicating with colleagues as required middot; Keeping up to date with industry news, competitor activity etc Ideal candidates will be/have: middot; A background in the Fastenings industry middot; Demonstrable success within sales roles middot; Understanding of the sales process and dynamics. middot; A commitment to excellent customer service. middot; Excellent written and verbal communication skills. middot; Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers. middot; Motivated, confident, with a hunters mentality to sales This would suit someone who has previous Field Sales experience within a similar environment and who is self motivated and able to journey plan successfully
