The Benefits middot;Competitive salary middot;Flexible/Hybrid working middot;33 days holiday middot;Personal development plan and mentorship from a senior engineer middot;Payment of professional membership bodies such as CIBSE middot;Free onsite parking The Role middot;Take on the lead role in in HVAC Design, creating design deliverables middot;Lead the ventilation ductwork engineering discipline middot;Create mechanical ventilation design deliverables for both low and high integrity ductwork systems middot;Input to process, heat exchanger, treatment plant and prime mover specifications and design middot;Review and check vendor documentation for mechanical compliance with project specifications middot;Ensure design risks are considered and prepare design risk assessments. Communicating residual design risks to others middot;Provide strong technical support and identify innovative and robust solutions middot;Develop and maintain relationships with relevant technical consultants and suppliers middot;Maintain personal expertise and knowledge to ensure that the business stream is at the forefront of the industry Key Skillset Required: middot;Proven prior experience working on mid-large scale construction and mechanical engineering projects in a lsquo;Senior Design Engineer - HVAC rsquo; capacity middot;Solid experience with HVAC Calculations, Modelling/Drawings middot;Ideally any HEVACOMP / Open Buildings Designer, or similar (StabiCAD, MagiCAD, FineHVAC) middot;Detailed knowledge of codes of practice and other regulatory material middot;Competent in the use of 3-D solid modelling software such as solidworks/inventor. middot;Able to perform calculations related to heating, ventilation and air conditioning and the fluid flow through such systems. middot;Clear focus on collaboration and building relationships with other engineers and project teams to deliver cost effective and acceptable engineering solutions. middot;Experience in a broad range of heavy industries such as petrochemical, power generation and nuclear. middot;Experience and knowledge of PPMOF (Pre-Assembly, Pre-Fabrication Modularisation and Offsite) construction
