Electrical maintenance engineer

Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Essex - GBP45,000 + Benefits - Ref 1599 I am currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work for a key client of mine based in Essex. Salary GBP45,000 + Benefits. The organisation has been in operation for over 40 years and has a turnover in excess of GBP100 million. They have 9 sites across the UK and employ over 500 people. They have a very well-established global client base and are one of the most recognisable companies within their area of specialism. To support the continued growth of the business and to deal with the amount of work they have now and forecasted they have the need to appoint another Electrical Maintenance Engineer on a permanent basis. In this role as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for plant maintenance repairs and improvements. Typical duties will include PPM, Troubleshooting with some minor installation works. You will be working on a large plant and therefore the work will be varied providing constant challenge and engagement. The work could include you dealing with pumps, conveyors, brakes, lighting, bearings, PLC #39;s, motors, and automated systems in amongst a whole host of other aspects. This will be day shift based and no weekend work (overtime available). Essential Requirements: Previous experience working as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer or similar in an industrial environment Previous experience troubleshooting Experience doing PPMIdeal Requirements: 17th or 18th edition IET Wiring Regulations Experience working with plant equipment or on an industrial plant Experience with PLC #39;sThis is a rare and exciting opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work for a global giant that are still family run and maintain this feel whilst being secure in the market they operate within.
