Managing a diverse portfolio which will consist of both new and established clients, you will be encouraged to develop further revenue streams and bring new clients into the firm. Responsibilities will include: * Managing a diverse portfolio of clients and becoming their primary * Develop and apply your technical and commercial knowledge to provide expert advice and exceed client expectations * Lead and manage audit assignments to completion, managing budgets, billing and client engagement * Contribute to the management of the audit team, audit procedures and, more widely, to the whole compliance team * Manage the junior members of the team and provide training where necessary The successful Audit Manager will have: * Either ACA or ACCA with a minimum of 1-2 years post qualification experience * At least 6 years rsquo; UK practice experience * Previous experience at assistant manager or manager level * Proven experience of producing high quality audits * Aptitude to assist with business development activities * Commercial approach to business * Excellent communication and client management skills Howett Thorpe are acting as a recruitment agency in relation to this role and comply with all relevant UK legislation and do not discriminate on any protected characteristics.
