To be considered for this position, you need to be a skilled underwriter in bridging finance with a minimum of 12 months of experience. The Role: Bridging Development Finance Underwriter Location: Cheshire About: Our client offers first and second-charge bridging loans secured against residential, semi-commercial, and commercial properties, providing short-term lending. What #39;s on offer: * Salary ranging from GBP42,000 to GBP50,000 depending on experience * Generous bonuses * Attractive overall package, including holiday and benefits * Opportunities for career progression to senior levels * 25 days holidays plus BH * Pension scheme * Full support of team members Responsibilities: * Evaluate loan applications, conduct thorough risk assessments, and make informed decisions based on financial analysis. * Perform comprehensive due diligence on borrowers, collateral, and property values to ensure accurate risk evaluation. * Ensure all underwriting activities align with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. * Work closely with the sales and origination teams to structure deals that meet both client and company objectives. * Maintain clear and effective communication with internal stakeholders. * Support brokers and clients throughout the underwriting process. * Respond to initial inquiries within the specified SLA timescales.
