Assistant qs estimator

Well established fitout and interiors business based in Coventry is looking to bring in an enthusiastic Assistant QS / Estimator to work alongside the MD and take on some of the tendering and surveying work. They are doing more and more automotive fitouts larger projects, and are nearly doubling their turnover this year, having already done last years turnover in the first 6months The successful candidate would need to be already fully conversant and have the ability to work on your own as there isn #39;t another specific QS within the business and it would entail taking some of the estimating, tendering and surveying off the MD. You will need to be aware of what software systems are needed and be IT literate. Salary GBP30 to 35,000 Mileage paid Company pension End of year no contractual bonus Ideally local to the office within 25miles Monday to Friday - 8.30 to 5.00 20 days holiday plus Stats, required to retain sufficient for Christmas closure Experience in interior fitout estimating all areas of retail and hospitality and motor dealership refurbishments including externals and groundworks, fascia, curtain walling and entrance portals Measuring and splitting up projects into packages Packaging up and sending out tender to sub-contractors Qualifying return tenders RFi to client side Compiling tenders Site visits to meet sub-contractors and view project to ascertain scope and ensure all works are scheduled correctly
